v0.9.73 - New Server Monitor Alerts

edited August 2018 in Announcements
Following last week's release, we've now implemented further alerts for our Server Monitoring product, as follows:
  • Agent data warning - receive alerts if your Server Monitor Agent hasn't sent any data in over X minutes.
  • IOWait usage warning - receive alerts if your server's IOWait usage is too high.
  • Swap usage warning - receive alerts if your server's Swap usage is too high.
  • RAID health warning -  receive alerts if your software RAID health gets degraded. You will need to enable RAID monitoring in your agent as described in our documentation.
  • Drive errors warning - receive alerts if any of your drives have over X number of errors. You will need to enable Drive health monitoring in your agent as described in our documentation.
  • Drive wearout warning - receive alerts if any of your drives wearout goes over X percent. You will need to enable Drive health monitoring in your agent as described in our documentation.
  • Drive S.M.A.R.T. test failure warning - if either 'Drive errors warning' or 'Drive wearout warning' is configured for your Server Monitor, you will also be alerted if the S.M.A.R.T. self-test will fail on that server (except NVMe drives, at this time).
You can configure these new alerts the same way all of our Server Monitoring alerts are configured, either individually from each Server Monitor stats panel, or if you wish to configure multiple monitor at once, from Group Actions as described in our documentation.

If you experience any issues with these new features, please open a support ticket on our website and let us know about it.
Thank you.
